DSDS Has provided my girls with top notch instruction by qualified and loving instructors who are not only great teachers but are also great role models. My girls have established strong friendships that have gone beyond the steudio. Shelby and Macey have been provided with many opportunities to perform in many different settings. These experiences have provided them with confidence, exercise, grace and poise. As a former tuellerette myself, I appreciate that my girls are being taught proper technique by the best just as I was! I am always proud to say my girls dance for DSDS!

DSDS IS the premier studio in this region and it show s going to competitions and watching other studios dance. I love watching the progress each student makes from year to year. It is an amazing transformation! DSDS is a wonderful studio and obviously takes extreme talent, patience and love to do what they do. My daughters have not only learned dance from this studio. They have learned the importance of exercise and being healthy, self-confidence, patience and persistence. They have learned that once you start something, make a goal and never give up or quit. DSDS and it’s staff have the passion of dance and they pass that on to their students. Thanks!

A year ago I made the conscientious decision to switch my 15 year old and my 9 year- old daughters to the Dana Smith Dance Studio (DSDS) from another studio they had been dancing at in town. I made this decision after seeing their teams perform at a competition in Idaho Falls and was very impressed with the technique on the dance floor and had grown frustrated with the lack of progress at their previous studio. At DSDS it is more than dance, it’s a family. The instructors not only teach and correct the girls in their dance skills, but they teach confidence and teamwork among their teams. The girls at the studio are expected to respect each other and the mutual respect and support shows on the dance floor. My girls, in one short year, have learned and perfected technique that they did not have before. DSDS Has a way of teaching with love and they help their girls at the studio blossom in to beautiful dancers as well as well rounded young ladies who will carry themselves throughout life. At DSDS you are getting more than just the run of the mill dance lesson. My only regret is not switching them out sooner. I am so grateful to have brought my girls to the DSDS Family because in one short year their dancing skills have improved ten times, their confidence has grown exponentially, and they have learned respect fro themselves and others. It is more than just a performance at DSDS. Making a choice to dance at DSDS for your child IS the right decision.

Dana and Whitney and their instructors do an outstanding job at keeping the classes positive, upbeat, and fun—my daughter looks forward to going to dance class each week!! The students work extremely hard and are pushed to dance to the best of their ability as individuals as well as a performing company and the results can be seen in the dynamic performances at the recitals and competitions. Each child feels special when they walk through the doors at DSDS as they are greeted with much enthusiasm and excitement week after week. The classes offered not only teach the fundamentals involved in becoming a beautiful dancer but also important life skills such as hard work, self-discipline, respect, self-confidence, and teamwork.

When my daughter started dance at DSDS in 2005 we both knew it was the perfect studio for us.My little Macy was talented but a bit reserved. DSDS recognized this. They gave her amazing choreography and solos that gave her great confidence. DSDS took her strengths in dance and maximized her potential. That is what they do at DSDS every year with all of their dancers. They strengthen talent and maximize potential.

When I decided to put my 3 year old into dance she was very shy. For her, I needed to find dance instructors who were kind, loving, caring, and able to make her feel comfortable. As a mother I was looking for a dance studio that taught confidence and was knowledgeable in all areas of dance. I went to dance recitals around the area and decided DSDS entailed all these details. DSDS far surpassed all these wonderful characteristics for both my daughter and I. Seven years later we still love being at DSDS, and my daughter has developed with great confidence, has a love and passion for dance, and has made a lot of fun friends through dance. I am thrilled to be starting another 3 year old daughter this year.
DSDS turns girls into beautiful women in many ways. Through their dance instructions they teach a wonderful work ethic, a love for what they do, and a love for each other. I am so happy to have these dance instructors be a part of both my girls lives.

Dancing with DSDS has given my daughter the opportunity to learn from professional choreographers and dance in competitions within Idaho and Utah. But the love and art of dance are not the only skills she has learned in the 5 years she has danced with DSDS. Responsibility, accountability, confidence and teamwork are among some of the best disciplines taught by the talented and experienced staff. I have seen some very talented and well rounded young women graduate from this studio and am proud to say that my daughter is a part of the DSDS family

My daughter has danced at DSDS since she was 4 years old and joined a preschool combo class. She is now a member of the Tuellerettes. I looked at other dance studios before deciding on DSDS, and over the years I have been more and more convinced that I made the absolute best choice for Emma. I wouldn’t have her dance anywhere else. Her transformation from a shy little girl into a beautiful, poised, well-rounded and graceful dancer is inspiring to me, and I know that it wouldn’t have happened without the dedicated work of the fabulous teachers at DSDS. What they teach goes beyond the stage, though. She has learned confidence, discipline and teamwork that will serve her well throughout her life. For that I am incredibly grateful.

We’ve been part of the DSDS family for 8 years. Every year I am in awe at the progress I see in Lexie and Masi. Their technique, form, and ability to control their bodies greatly improve. I LOVE the professionalism that DSDS provides. The classes are instructed by educated dancers in a loving atmosphere creating a structured yet fun place to dance. I am impressed with the choreography and music being age appropriate. Through DSDS dance my girls have learned the definition of hard work, determination, teamwork, and respect. They love the amazing staff and are willing to give 110% in effort to please their dance teachers.
